If you're into rock/heavy metal then The Crobar SHOULD be your destination on a Friday night - Just a 5 minute walk from Oxford Street/Tottenham Court Road tube! This bar gets packed and has a great jukebox selection (Could do with some more songs). It's narrow at the bar but once you get into the back room, you've get some breathing space.
The have some live music on occasionally, which is not a bad thing!
Downside is that the bar only opens from 4pm but stays open until 3am. There is no draught beers (Except soft drinks) and you have to pay £10 or more to use your card. Great bar and one for any metal fan! This is a proper rock bar!
Connect with them on Facebook!

Advice: When you walk out after a few too many, watch the step!

The Fitzroy is in the heart of Fitzrovia and has recently had refurb (2017). This unique pub is another great Sam Smiths pub - split into four ground floor rooms as well as an upstairs - with the toilets in the cellar.
Just like the Bricklayers and Blue Posts, the Fitzroy serves food and only stocks Sam Smiths drinks - keeping the prices low. There is no dartboard but thee staff are friendly and pleasant - a great pub to start the night off with!
Open Mon-Sat: 12pm-11pm; Sun: 12pm-10.30pm
The Flying Horse, in the centre of London, is not just a bloody great pub but also accommodation.
Friday lunchtime is busy (Along with most weekday lunchtimes) with the office workers having a pub lunch. The pub does lunch time menus and main meals - surprisingly at reasonable prices. The pub has free WiFi, a dartboard and show live sport. Cards are accepted.
The hostel has a 24 hour reception and if you book direct (Link below) with them you get breakfast included.

Book a room in The Flying Horse. (Click on Liverpool St, under 'Where to next').
The Hub is (Just as it says) just like your normal Premier Inn, just more modern.
The rooms are good, with the beds probably a little higher than normal. The wall map of London on the bedside walls are good.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Downside is that there are no kettles in the room, so you need to go to the restaurant for a cup of tea.
The hotel is just a 3 minute walk from St Jame’s Park tube station, in-between Buckingham Palace and Big Ben! The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from Soho, through Chinatown, Piccadilly Circus.
Book early an you can get a room for £55p/n, but leave it late and you could be looking at £130p/n.

The Willow Walk is a typical Wetherspoons, next door to the Apollo theatre opposite Victoria station. The prices are good, free Wi-Fi and good food.
The staff are pleasant and have a personality, not the usual robots you get in Wetherspoons.
